Dance performances showcase students’ talents

An interesting variety of group and solo pieces were performed as A Level students put on a Dance Showcase in the Havering Sixth Form College theatre on Friday.

The lower and upper sixth students performed routines titled Howl, Cool, This Place is a Shelter, Paint It Black, One by One, Cold, Cell Block Tango, Trumpet Solo and Running.

The appreciative audience enjoyed the contemporary style of dance in both the group and individual performances.

The upper sixth routines, choreographed by the students themselves, were particularly polished and will be used as their performance pieces for their final exams in a few months.

The whole HSFC Dance Company performed an impressive final piece to the popular hit tune Running.
