Stunning artwork on show at creative arts exhibition
A ‘stunning’ exhibition by creative arts and media students was visited by parents, governors and prospective students.
The end-of-year Showcase, by students studying within the Arts, Performance and Media Faculty, was full of inspiring artwork, striking photography, intricate architectural models and sleek portfolio magazines.
Students studying subjects such as Graphics, Digital Publishing, Fine Art, Interior & Architectural Design and Photography exhibited work while those on the Gaming and TV & Film BTEC courses demonstrated computer games they had programmed and films they had created.
Prospective students and their parents were able to view the exhibition, try out some of the games and watch a film recording and music session as well as talk to current students and teachers about the courses.
Deputy Principal Paul Nutter said: “Some stunning pieces of artwork were exhibited by our students in the Creative Arts & Media Showcase. The work this year was of very high quality and the exhibition was well-attended.”
