Prospective students signed in to meet course tutors and were able to enjoy subject presentations, an inspirational talk by the Principal, advice from Careers staff, Aiming High Honours Programme presentations and information about the care and support available in College.

Visitors could view facilities such as the gym, Library, restaurant, sports hall, drama theatre and the new ICT suite as well as dropping in to classrooms to chat to teachers and current students.

Many visitors commented that the College had a nice atmosphere and that the day had given them excellent information on courses available.

One parent who visited with her Year 11 daughter, said: “It’s been an eye-opener for me. I wasn’t expecting the day to be so good. I was really impressed with the presentations we saw and all the teachers we spoke to gave us lots of good advice. My daughter was considering a school sixth form but now she will be putting the College as her first choice.”
